Chief Surgeon, Dr. Sandeep Mithal (M.S. Ophthalmology) has been professor & Head of Department of Ophthalmology at L.L.R.M. Medical College, Meerut. He has teaching & Clinical Experience of over 35 years. He is a life member of All India Ophthalmologist Society, American Academy of Society, Glaucoma Society of India, Strabismus Society of India and various NGOs involved in clinical research related to health and eye care. Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. He was associated with LLRM Medical College of Meerut as Principal and Head of Upgraded Department of Ophthalmology where he played an important role in starting Peadiatric Ophthalmology clinic, Meerut Eye bank society as founder and many such upgradations at LLRM Medical College. Recipient of various prestigious awards, Dr. Mithal has held a key position of an Examiner for MBBS, DOMS and MS of various universities such as AIIMS & PGI Chandigarh. He was appointed by ICMR as Chief Investigator of 'Management of Glaucoma in Indian Conditions'. Although, Dr. Mithal is an experienced Surgeon performing Advanced Cataract Phaco Surgery, Glaucoma Surgery, Strabismus Surgery, Refractive Surgery & Occuloplasty Surgeries for more than 3 decades, he takes keen interest in serving underprivileged strata of society by participating in free Eye Camps, IOL Camps, Phaco Camps, Senior Citizens Eye Camp, and Glaucoma Screening Camp. He has to his credit more than one lakh cataract surgeries & more 10years experience is refractive surgery (Lasik) & large Number of Glaucoma, Squint & Occuloplasty & Trauma Eye Surgeries. He has been providing gift of sight to millions with his skills & God’s Grace. Under his entrepreneurship the centre is currently offering to patients the best of technology like Ozil technology, Micro Phaco with Premium lenses, Keratoplasty, filtering glaucoma surgery, strabismus surgery, Femto-Laser and many other eye surgeries. He has to his credit development of many State of Art Speciality Eye care centers.
